GCDS Mobile Gong Show #2021, a fun, silly fundraiser to raise money for publication of Gulf Coast Dementia Resource Guidebook and specific awareness for Dementia Care, Prevention and Reversal. This event will feature unique acts vying for prizes, celebrity judges, a cash raffle, a cruise raffle and more.
When: Thursday, September 23, 2021 to correspond with World Alzheimer’s Month, just 2 days after World Alzheimer’s Day.
Where: Alchemy Tavern, 2nd floor, 7 S. Joachim Street, Downtown Mobile, AL 36602, across from The Saenger Theater. Easy street, church and lot for paid parking
Sponsorship and Promotion Tiers:
Event Sponsor: $2500

-Banner display at 1st floor check in on wall turn (forced look) to welcome as guests take stairs

Since 2012, Gulf Coast Dementia Services is a 501c3 organization, has been serving the Gulf Coast Community. Our mission is to enhance the quality of life for individuals and family members affected by the various types of dementia, Alzheimer’s being the most common, by providing comprehensive dementia care, prevention and reversal education along with training and support.
We do that through our:
- • Expert led weekly Alzheimer’s/Dementia Support Group meetings that are free for everyone,
- • Quarterly seminars/workshops offering continuing education units for healthcare professionals, free or super low cost
- • Biennial regional dementia conference, low cost to cover a lunch and
- • Alzheimer’s/Dementia Resource Guidebook, free electronically and in print.
